River of Resistance
Visitors step into a political protest, where a diverse crowd is making their voices heard on a number of civil rights issues, demanding change and equality.
Beyond these personal profiles, visitors encounter a series of learning stations, each focusing on a prominent civil rights issue, such as quality of education, housing, employment, and transportation.
The exhibit engages visitors personally and encourages them to create hypothesis about a specific protest, court case, or media event and to compare it to what actually occurred.
