One More River to Cross

Following the beginning visitor path, visitors will proceed to the start of the permanent exhibitions. 

These exhibit areas tell of the history of African-Americans in Kentucky, starting with the arrival of Africans via the Middle Passage. 

This transition space is highly impressionistic, filled with sounds and projected images onto surfaces suggestive of captivity and a ship.
