This place is the Kentucky Center for African American Heritage, rooted in the past but reaching toward the future. It is a place that ensures that the visitor knows what has gone on before, but also insists on preparation for what is yet to come.
Kentuckians have been dreaming for years about a permanent home to show off the rich culture and history of African-Americans. And now the dream is about to become a reality, thanks to a diverse, grass-roots group of Louisvillians known as the African American Heritagew Foundation.
